A closer look.

Near black with confident golden contrast

Near black makes a substantial background for golden yellow and white. Yellow gives the dark field a warm, graphic pulse; white brings another clear interval to the three-color patterns. The contrast is confident, with woven detail giving the deep areas a more tactile appearance.

Bring the room together

Use black or tobacco leather, pale wool upholstery and dark timber to give the strong contrast a substantial setting. Golden yellow works best as the deliberate accent, with brass repeated sparingly. A light stone table or ivory rug can bring relief to a dramatic study or entry wall.
