A closer look.
Scarlet softened with warm cream
Scarlet is paired with warm cream and near black for a red palette with a softer light band. Cream gives the crossings warmth, while the dark accent keeps the arrangement precise. The result is saturated and welcoming, with the character of a well-appointed gathering room.
Bring the room together
Choose chestnut leather, medium walnut and upholstery in oat or biscuit tones. Cream gives scarlet a warmer, more lived-in companion than a stark white band, while near black supplies a precise edge. The palette is inviting in a dining room with warm lamps and uncomplicated wooden furniture.
